Tiburon is another town in Marin County that developed as a result of the Railroad. The town of Tiburon was originally a town used as a summer vacation spot for residents of San Francisco, and is now home to a small thriving community. These large, picturesque vacation homes are now permanent homes to the residents of Tiburon. You will find everything from upscale remodeled cottages, to grand estates with all of the extras.
This small town is home to around 10,000 residents, and has a plethora of attractions that brings visitors and new residents every year. Excellent restaurants with gourmet dining, along with designer shops, compliment the upscale population of Tiburon. Great parks and historic landmarks complete the city and display the culture of the area.
Main Street in Tiburon is the central location for shopping and dining in the town. Located near the ferry landing, this is where Tiburon does most of its business. In the warmer months Tiburon even closes Main Street off to vehicles to create an open air dining location.
