Beautiful Oak covered hills span the town of San Anselmo. Once named Junction, because of the railroad that ran through town, became San Anselmo after the Punta de Quintin land grant. The town began to grow after the building of the San Francisco Theological Seminary a "castle in the hills", which is now a local landmark.
